Terms & Conditions
1. GENERAL MATTERS RELATING TO PRIVATE TOUR
1.1. The details of your Private Tour will be set out in the applicable tour itinerary (the “Itinerary”). Upon issuance, the Itinerary shall form part of these Terms and Conditions unless stated otherwise. In the event of inconsistency, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.

1.3. The Private Tour price does not include (but is not limited to):
-
Airport-related charges (e.g. taxes, insurance surcharges);
-
Hotel-related fees (e.g. room service, laundry);
-
Gratuities and tips;
-
Government taxes or levies;
-
Personal expenses.
1.4. Definitions:
-
“Travel group”: You and any other persons included in the reservation.
-
“Scheduled Departure Date”: The date of departure from Singapore.
1.5. Accommodation details will be specified in the Itinerary. Types (single, twin, etc.) may vary and be priced differently. In some cases, shared bathroom facilities may apply. Alternative accommodation may be substituted with notice.
1.6. Third-party service providers ("Third Party Service Providers") are engaged for flights, hotels, vets, activity providers, government agencies and transport etc. We act as an intermediary and are not liable for their actions, omissions, or changes affecting your Private Tour.
1.7. Airline rules and conditions of carriage apply. Non-compliance may lead to denied boarding or extra fees. We are not liable for any resulting inconvenience or losses.
1.8. Meals (including in-flight) are only included if specified in the Itinerary. No refunds for missed meals.
1.9. Travellers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. If accompanied by a non-parent/guardian, an “Unaccompanied Minor Waiver” must be submitted. Airline and regulatory compliance remains your responsibility.
1.10. Pregnant travellers must obtain a doctor’s certificate stating fitness to travel. If a service provider refuses access despite the certificate, no refunds will be given.
1.11. Children under 12 may be eligible for child fares (subject to third-party terms), though availability is not guaranteed.
1.12. We will try to accommodate special needs but cannot guarantee arrangements. No liability for delays or missed activities, and no refunds if third parties deny access or service.
1.13. We may refuse a traveller if they are:

Unfit to travel (physical or mental);
-
Likely to require special care/ extremely difficult to handle;
-
A potential risk to themselves and/or others.
1.14. Clause 1.13 can be exercised anytime before departure. No refunds apply.
1.15. All payments must be made in SGD by PAYNOW, Bank transfer or credit card (additional fees apply).
1.16. You are responsible for ensuring your dog meets the airline’s size, weight, and breed policy. No refunds will be issued if your dog exceeds these limits or is denied boarding.
1.17. You are responsible for your dog’s behavior at all times. If your dog is deemed unfit for travel, aggressive, disruptive, or unsafe by an airline, accommodation provider, or any third-party, access may be denied without refund or compensation.
1.18. Airlines or authorities may, at their discretion, require your dog to travel in cargo, even if initially accepted in-cabin. We are not liable for changes to pet travel classification or related inconvenience.
1.19. Any vet, grooming, or pet care costs incurred during the tour are your sole responsibility unless explicitly stated in the itinerary. We recommend travel insurance that covers pet medical needs.
1.20. You are responsible for complying with all pet-related travel policies, including approved dog carrier size and additional accessories like strollers or crates. Airlines and third-party service providers may impose extra charges or deny boarding.
1.21. You must ensure your dog’s gear (including carrier, leash, stroller, muzzle, etc.) is compliant with airline and country-specific rules. We are not liable for costs or issues arising from non-compliant equipment.
1.22. We are not liable for disruptions, denied access, or penalties resulting from your dog’s behavior, including (but not limited to): aggression, destruction of property, excessive barking, or toileting incidents during flights, airport procedures, or tour activities.
1.23. Activity and tour participation is subject to the rules and requirements of third-party providers. No refunds or alternative arrangements will be offered if your dog is denied entry due to failure to meet such requirements (e.g. breed, size, vaccination, behavior).
2. MAKING A RESERVATION AND PAYMENT OF DEPOSIT
2.1. A reservation is confirmed only when:
-
Deposit is paid; and
-
Passport details are submitted within 3 days of deposit.
2.2. The deposit is the higher of 50% of the tour price or $9000 SGD per person.
2.3. Deposit amounts may vary at our discretion.
2.4. Failure to submit documents within 3 days will result in cancellation and forfeiture of deposit except explicitly stated otherwise.
2.5. Special requests (dietary, seating, adjoining rooms, etc.) must be stated at booking. We do not guarantee their fulfillment.
2.6. By paying the deposit or tour price, you confirm that you have reviewed and agree to the Itinerary and these Terms and Conditions on behalf of yourself and all members of your travel group.
3. CONFIRMATION & FULL PAYMENT
3.1. Written confirmation from us is required for a reservation to be treated as confirmed.
3.2. We reserve discretion on whether to confirm a reservation.
3.3. Full payment is due upon confirmation of first vet visit, covering:

Remaining balance after deposit; and
-
Any other notified charges.
3.4. You are responsible for ensuring timely payment.
3.5. Late payment = deemed cancellation. Cancellation fees apply.
4. CANCELLATION BY CUSTOMER
4.1. You may cancel by submitting a written notice.
4.2. Cancellation fees per traveller:
-
≥60 days: 75% of tour price or 100% of deposit (whichever higher)
-
0–60 days: 100% of tour price
4.3. Non-refundable third-party fees also apply.
4.4. We will notify you of the total cancellation fee. Any balance is due in 3 days.
4.5. If refunds are received from third parties before notification, we will deduct them from cancellation fees.
4.6. An admin fee of $50 may be charged.
4.7. Name/date/type changes are considered cancellations.
5. CANCELLATION BY COMPANY
5.1. A "Cancellation Event" includes:
-
Natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, wars, maintenance work, etc.;
-
Third-party failure beyond our control.
5.2. We may offer:
-
An alternative tour (top-up/refund for value difference);
-
Credit note for future use;
-
Full refund.
5.3. We decide which option(s) to offer.
5.4. No refunds if:
-
You, your dog or a travel group member is quarantined, deported, unable to travel for any reason or refused boarding.
5.5. We are not liable in Clause 5.4 events. Maintain travel insurance.
6. AMENDMENT BY CUSTOMER
6.1. Rights are non-transferable without consent.
6.2. Written requests for amendments (name, flight, hotel changes) must be submitted ≥60 days before departure. Charges apply regardless of success.
6.3. You are responsible for all charges incurred from any changes.
7. AMENDMENT BY COMPANY
7.1. This does not limit Clause 5.
7.2. We may amend the itinerary due to reasons beyond our control.
7.3. We may offer:

Replacement component of equal value (with top-up/refund);
-
Partial refund.
7.4. We decide which option(s) to offer.
7.5. Clause 7 does not apply to Clause 5.4 events.
8. PANDEMIC-RELATED DISRUPTIONS
8.1. You are fully liable for all consequences (costs, injury, delay, etc.) from:
-
Travel restrictions;
-
Contracting a communicable disease.
8.2. Clause 8.1 does not apply if caused by our gross negligence.
9. REFUND POLICY
9.1. No refunds unless explicitly stated or agreed in writing.
9.2. No refund for unused services.
9.3. Refunds are processed as follows:
-
PAYNOW/ Bank Transfer: via cheque (2–4 weeks);
-
Credit card: via card company (4–6 weeks);
10. TRAVEL DOCUMENTS & INSURANCE
10.1. You are responsible for valid passports (6 months' validity) and required visas.
10.2. Only dog paperwork and entry permits are handled by us.
10.3. Your name must match your travel documents. Amendment fees apply.
10.4. Failure to meet document requirements = deemed cancellation.
10.5. We strongly recommend obtaining travel insurance for you and your dog.
11. DATA PROTECTION
11.1. We will comply with PDPA.
11.2. By booking, you consent to use of your group’s photos/videos for promotional materials unless you opt out by emailing info@furawayjourney.com
12. INDEMNITY
12.1. We are not liable for losses unless due to gross negligence or breach.
12.2. We are not obligated to offer alternatives in cases outlined in Clause 5.4.
12.3. Maximum liability is limited to the total payments made by you.
12.4. You indemnify us against claims, legal fees, or costs arising from breaches.
12.5. You agree to bear all costs related to enforcing these Terms.
12.6. You accept full responsibility for any damage or injury caused by your dog to persons, property, or third-party premises during the tour. You shall bear all costs, penalties, and claims arising from such incidents.
13. PET TRAVEL-SPECIFIC RISKS AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
13.1. Pet travel involves risk and uncertainty, including but not limited to changes in airline regulations, pet behavior under stress, and third-party service denial.
13.2. You understand and accept the possibility that your dog may be denied in-cabin travel, placed in cargo, or refused access by providers at any stage of the tour.
13.3. You confirm that your dog is fit to travel, non-aggressive, and compliant with all policies of airlines, hotels, and activity providers.
13.4. You understand that your dog must be under control at all times, and agree to take full financial and legal responsibility for any consequences of your dog’s actions.
13.5. No refunds or credits will be provided for disruptions caused by pet-related issues.
14. MISCELLANEOUS
14.1. Feedback can be submitted to info@furawayjourney.com
14.2. Disputes will be referred to mediation first, then Singapore Courts.
14.3. Governed by Singapore law.
14.4. Illegal or void terms do not affect other clauses.
14.5. Third Parties Act does not apply.
14.6. We may amend these Terms anytime.
